Danny Vickous
Founder
Danny Vickous is the founder and owner of My Brother's Keeper, LLC. He is responsible for the management of the company and conducts most of the assessments and training himself. His expertise is based on both education and experience. In 2007 he retired from the Bowling Green, KY Police Department at the rank of Captain. During his career he worked a variety of assignments in patrol, criminal investigations, drug enforcement and training. Danny was tasked with forming the department's first formal training unit and was instrumental in forming the department's Critical Response Team, which he commanded for seven years.
Danny is a graduate of the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) National Academy in Quantico, VA. He believes that we should always seek learning and regularly updates his knowledge and skills base. Danny is a member of the FBI National Academy Associates (FBINAA), the International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers Association (ILEETA), and ASIS International, to name a few.
Danny is a Certified Law Enforcement Security Assessment Specialist (ACPI). He is certified to instruct in numerous established programs such as the Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB®), as well as firearms and other force related areas.
Danny brings the experience of a career in law enforcement as well as years spent training hundreds of officers and civilians. Whether conducting an assessment for a large corporation or training a small group, his passion and caring set him apart from others.
